We are therapists who are looking for a better way, and a better place to work throughout our massage and holistic careers. We are looking for a stable, consitant, long term environment which is benefical to our clients and the growth to our therapists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end we thought it would also be better if we could help guide the newer generations of therapists in their growth, to teach and mentor them in other forms of therapies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I have been a registered massage therapist for over 30 years. Operating as a self employed professional massage therapist, as an independent Contractor for 28 of those years, now I’m employed at The Kananaskis Nordic Spa for the last 4 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always taken pride in my work and developed into a better therapist by taking courses and growing in a holistic direction and love meeting other therapists who share my passion. I believe the product is from the therapist and the results achieved from the\u00a0 massage, is wholly due to the therapist client relationship. All of the companies I have worked with have taught me and in turn benefited from my labour, hard work and passion for what I love to do.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My new passion is to share my knowledge with other therapists who want control over their destiny by starting a worker owned cooperative. Where they can merge the ownership and hard work into one place.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

I am part of the Massage and Holistic COOP team. I am excited to see this co-op grow because it is all about community for both the clients and the employees. I have my own company, 1000 Butterflies, and I do massage, Reiki, Indian Head and Foot massage, Thai Yoga massage, Chakra balancing and Angel card readings. I love to learn new techniques when it comes to the human body both physically and mentally and spiritually. My goal is to help people bring balance into their lives by getting out of their head and into their whole body.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
